Find the answers to some common queries about A&T's products and programs.

Does your facility operate year-round?
A&T's equestrian facility is a year round operation, with our busiest times taking place during the summer months from June to September. We operate weekly, half-morning, and half-afternoon sessions. We also are involved in many equestrian events throughout the year.

Is there medical assistance available?
Yes medical assistance available at all times during our lesson sessions. Our staff are all fully qualified in first aid. We provide the most secure and safest site that we possibly can, and all our equipment is maintained to the highest of standards, to ensure safe, secure and fun environment for all our students.

Is a refund available if my child decides that he/she doesn't like riding?
We do not refund your payment, as our experience has shown that most children are truly excited when they are around the horses. We are required to schedule times for our staff and horses so that we have no way to book your student's allotted horse, equipment and staff.

Is all equipment supplied?
We supply the horse and tack but students are required to bring their own helmet and boots. We also recommend that you bring a snack, and something to drink. We also have T-shirts available on the first day at an additional cost of $15.00

Can my child enter into horse shows?
After students become familiar with riding and are more confident in their abilities we will enter them into different shows that are suitable for their qualifications. We host and attend many different shows from beginner to expert, and will assess each student's ability before entering them into an event.

Do you sell the horses at A&T?
Yes we sell horses, if you are interested please contact us for more information and prices.

What method of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit and cash, as well as personal cheques. We also have gift certificates available for all occasions.

Can I photograph my child?
Yes, we do not mind you taking pictures of your child.

Can we bring food for the horses?
An occasional fresh carrot or apple is a nice treat for our horses that you can bring from home. Please make sure to ask a staff member for assistance when feeding the horses or ponies.

Our Commitment to Equestrian Sports
Backed by a love of horses and a lifelong dream of establishing an equestrian facility that is both safe and fun for children, adults and seniors, Tanis Lessing began pursuing her vision more than a decade ago. A&T Equestrian was created from this shared vision, and has since evolved into a superior equestrian facility that now stands as one of the most highly respected centres in all of British Columbia.

Our Leasing Programs.
A&T's flexible leasing program is designed to enhance your developing knowledge of riding and horse care. Providing you with the opportunity to ride as often as you wish and improve your riding skills year round, when you lease your chosen horse or pony from A&T's impressive team of horse talent you will also gain first-hand knowledge of what it's really like to own a horse of your very own.

A&T offers both full seven-day leases and half-leases of three riding days per week. We look after all your horse's feed, care and expenses, giving you all the freedom and fun of horse ownership.
